boiled sweets are lethal

Dear diary,

Today, I almost died.

I was in the car with my sis and mom and bro and and my bro was like "Hey, you want Hi-Sour??" A Hi-Sour is a small, round boiled sweet that is .. sour. I like sour stuff so I said "Yes!" And he said "No!" And I said "Give me, or else..." And my brother knows that "or else" means he's gonna get strangled and mangled. So he gave me one Hi-Sour candy. I was very happy.

Then my sister started talking about something and I got over-excited and I opened my mouth and sucked in my breath to say something and guess what??! The round candy got sucked into my throat!!!! My eyes almost fell out of their sockets!! I must have looked like I was having 20 seizures at once because my mom and my sister looked like they were about to call an ambulance!! lol!!

It was a very weird feeling, having the round candy stuck in my throat. I couldn't swallow it cuz it was too big and I couldn't just wait for it to melt cuz I'd be dead by then. So I made sure that I was able to breathe and tried to cough it out. But it remained stuck there!! It was freaking painful and I didn't want to breathe in case it went further in.. Finally I somehow managed to cough it out and the candy flew out of my throat and onto my sister. hee hee.

Omg, I am so totally traumatised!! I think I've just developed a fear of hard, round candy. It really felt like a near-death experience, because really, I could have died if it went deeper in and slipped into my lungs or something. Well maybe that's not possible but still!!!

I'm still alive in this crazy crazy world~ :D

The End.

How to Cope with the Loss of a Pet Rock

(Found on some really awesome website with helped me overcome my grief)

Losing a loyal friend is always upsetting. Losing a Pet Rock is even worse, because you have spent so much time with them. They have been your constant companion and trusted friend. You could talk to them, and know that they would never tell anyone what you told them in secret. When they die, make sure they are buried someplace with lots of other rocks, so they will not be lonely.
Steps
  1. Bury your rock. If your rock has died, find a nice spot in your garden to bury him. If you have an area which contains a lot of other rocks, bury them there. Mark that spot in some way or another - burying an old spoon with the bit you eat off sticking out of the ground is an ideal gravestone.
  2. Remember your rock. If you have lost your rock, plant a flower in remembrance of them.
  3. Listen to really depressing music. Don't try to cheer yourself up for at least three days. You will drop back down to reality with a thud. Be really miserable. It is respectful to your rock. Slowly cheer up. That way,you won't get sudden pangs of mourning.
  4. Begin again. After at least a fortnight you can get a new rock!!!!!
Tips:
  • Classical music can make you really miserable.
  • Other things that can make you really miserable include homework, thinking about lost items, best friends who have moved away and how you never gave your rock a good life, and so on.
